Vela Transit fetches GTFS feeds daily and GTFS-RT feeds continuously. Every change is captured and timestamped.

WE VALIDATE AND ARCHIVE

Feeds are run through the Canonical GTFS Validator. Issues are flagged. Every feed version, every RT message — stored on the Vela Context Hub.

HOW DOES VELA TRANSIT COMPARE TO TRANSITLAND?

Transitland is the closest comparable. Both aggregate GTFS feeds globally. Vela Transit's differentiation: full GTFS-RT message archive (not just registry tracking), NGSI-LD-native API, depth in CEE / Adriatic / Mediterranean geographies, and EU-procurement-friendly pricing.

DO I GET EVERY AGENCY IN THE WORLD?

Most. Coverage is strongest in Europe, North America, and Australia/NZ. We're actively expanding in Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. If you need a specific agency that isn't yet covered, tell us — we onboard new feeds continuously.

CAN I GET HISTORICAL DATA GOING BACK FURTHER THAN MY SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD?

Yes. Full historical archives are available on Professional and Enterprise tiers. Researcher tier gets read-access to historical archives but not bulk export.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DATA IF I CANCEL?

Nothing. Vela Transit aggregates public data. You weren't supplying it — you were querying it. Cancel any time.
